Dr. Rivera is an OB/GYN providing comprehensive women’s health care and 24/7 obstetric coverage at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center. With decades of experience, surgical expertise, and a deep commitment to Whole Person Care, Dr. Rivera delivers care that is both expert and empathetic.

Education & Expertise
Dr. Rivera brings over two decades of clinical experience to his work as an OB/GYN. He completed his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and went on to finish his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He holds active hospital privileges at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center and Paradise Valley Hospital, where he performs gynecologic surgeries and provides around-the-clock obstetrical care. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Dr. Rivera serves a diverse community with compassion, precision, and a deep respect for each patient’s journey.
