Dr. Rivera has built his practice doing something that sounds simple but is rarer than it should be: taking the time to understand the full picture. As a bilingual OB/GYN serving San Diego and Chula Vista, he brings surgical expertise, 24/7 obstetric coverage at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, and a whole-person philosophy to every appointment.
I believe lifestyle, empathy, and understanding the full picture are often just as important as any prescription.

Education & Expertise
Dr. Rivera brings over two decades of clinical experience to his work as an OB/GYN. He completed his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and went on to finish his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
He holds active hospital privileges at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center and Paradise Valley Hospital, where he performs gynecologic surgeries and provides around-the-clock obstetrical care. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Dr. Rivera serves a diverse community with compassion, precision, and a deep respect for each patient’s journey.
